Hyderabad: Armed Men Loot 'Khazana Jewellery' In Broad Daylight, Deputy Manager Shot- VIDEO

Hyderabad: A daylight robbery took place at the Khazana Jewellery store in Hyderabad's Chandanagar on Tuesday morning, when a gang of six armed robbers stormed the premises and opened fire.

The incident occurred at around 10:35 a.m, just minutes after the store had opened for business. According to police, the deputy manager of the store was injured during the firing and was rushed to the PRK hospital for treatment. One of the bullets reportedly struck him in the leg.

CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing six masked men, some wielding firearms, entering the store. The men can be seen threatening the staff with a gun Two of the suspects were reportedly armed and fired two rounds during the robbery.


The assailants reportedly resorted to firing when the staff of the showroom did not co-operate during the loot. After the firing, there was a lot of panic and chaos in the store.

Reportedly, the armed robbers quickly collected some silver jewellery before fleeing towards Zaheerabad in a getaway vehicle.

The robbers could not steal gold as the lockers were secure. The police have formed teams to nab the accused.The incident has caused panic among local traders and residents.
