Haryana: Robbers Snatch Gold Chain Of BJP District Vice President's Wife In Narwana; AAP Reacts After Shocking CCTV Footage Surfaces

Haryana, August 10: In a shocking incident, two men riding a scooter snatched the gold chain of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District Vice President Pramod Sharma's wife near their house in Haryana's Narwana. The incident was caught on camera and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. It can be seen in the video that the robbers snatch the gold chain from Suman Sharma and flee the spot on a scooter.

Details About The Incident

The incident reportedly occurred in Jind District of Narwana, where the two men arrived on their scooter and one of them got down from the bike and followed Suman. He then snatched the chain from her neck and ran away. He then fled the spot along with his accomplice who started the scooter and was waiting for him. They then fled the spot with the gold chain. The entire incident was caught on the CCTV camera installed in the area.

There are reports that the police have registered a case in connection with the matter and initiated an investigation into the matter. The incident reportedly occurred when Suman had gone out for an evening walk. After completing her walk, she was returning to her home at around 6 PM. As she entered the lane near their house, she suddenly felt a strong tug at her neck. When she turned around, she saw a man running away with her gold chain.

CCTV Footage

Suman raised an alarm and chased the robbers, however, they managed to flee the spot with the chain. The police are investigating the CCTV footage of the incident and they are trying to identify the culprits and arrest them as soon as possible.

Haryana Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) slammed Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini over the incident and raised questions over the law and order situation in the state. AAP Haryana said, "In the Model Town Park of Narwana, Jind, a chain-snatching incident occurred with Suman, the wife of BJP District Vice-President Pramod Sharma. Nayab Saini ji, when the officials of BJP Haryana and their families are not safe, who can the common people of Haryana rely on?"
