Varanasi: A message of love, harmony and brotherhood was conveyed from Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi amid the language row in Maharashtra. Leaders and workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Prime Minister Modi's constituency were present at Cantt Railway Station to welcome passengers arriving on Train No. 11061, the Mumbai–Jaynagar Express, on Wednesday.
The train arrived at 12:43 p.m., and as Marathi-speaking families began to get down, they were welcomed with garlands placed around their necks. Flower petals were showered upon them and they were offered sweets. Volunteers held pictures of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Veer Savarkar.
Organiser's Message
BJP leader Anup Jaiswal, who organised the welcome ceremony, said that whether it is Kashmir or Maharashtra, all places are the land of Mother India. The tricolor keeps this entire country united.

Language Row In Maharashtra
For those unversed, Maharashtra has been in the spotlight for multiple incidents of targeted violence where MNS workers went on a violent spree, singling out Hindi-speaking migrants and thrashing them in public for not knowing how to speak Marathi.
