Delhi Police's Response To Man Looking For 'Solemate' On X Goes Viral

A user named Himanshu posted, “Hey @DelhiPolice, I’m feeling a bit down with ‘Lonely Heart Syndrome’. Could you help me find a solemate?” The Delhi Police, quick with its charm, responded, “Hey mate, it looks like a case of ‘sole’ searching! We are skilled at catching criminals rather than finding a ‘soulmate’, unless they are wanted for a crime.”

'Spiderman' & Gang Caught For Stealing Metro Cables

Meanwhile, the Delhi Police made headlines for a different reason recently, as they arrested a notorious gang led by an individual nicknamed ‘Spiderman’ for stealing metro cables. The gang's activities had caused repeated disruptions between the Majlis Park and Azadpur metro stations on February 3, targeting the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro.

The arrested individuals were identified as Govind Kumar, 24, Aas Mohammad, 29, and Sushil Kumar, 29. Govind, known as ‘Spiderman’ for his acrobatic skills, led the group in a series of thefts. The gang employed innovative methods, using construction debris as makeshift ladders to bypass security measures like barbed wire and gain access to the metro's electrical infrastructure.

According to The Times of India, the police noticed a pattern in the thefts after two similar incidents were reported. Determined to crack the case, a specialized team analyzed CCTV footage from the affected areas. Their efforts paid off when they identified the gang’s modus operandi and eventually apprehended Govind and Sushil. During the operation, the police seized 85 meters of stolen copper cables along with a Bolero pickup truck used by the thieves.
