Patna: Acclaimed teacher and YouTuber Faizal Khan aka on Tuesday attacked chief minister Nitish Kumar for his silence on BPSC exam muddle and pitched for the Centre’s intervention to resolve the matter if the state government continued to dither on the issue.

While talking to FPJ, he said that BPSC candidates were only demanding re-examination of the 70th BPSC combined preliminary examination but the state government was dithering on the issue.

Q: What will you say about chief minister Nitish Kumar`s silence on the BPSC exam row for the last two months?

A: How can I comment on Nitish’s silence on the issue? This question should be asked from the CM but his silence is baffling. All aspirants are committed to the cause and it is their collective efforts that helped the agitation to continue for two months. If the demand is not met, we will continue our agitation.

Q: You say Nitish will have to face consequences of not conceding the demand of BPSC candidates in the assembly election, so whether the JD (U) leader is not aware of it?

A: Nitish should be knowing how much he will have to pay if he does not concede the demand of BPSC candidates but if he does not, he will realise it in the assembly election which is only months away.

Q: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Bihar on February 24. Do you think he should also take up the matter?

A: Why not? The Centre should intervene and should resolve the matter if the state government continues to adopt a recalcitrant approach on the matter. It is another matter that both Nitish and his principal secretary Deepak Kumar have now started taking notice of the agitation and they will take a decision on the matter very soon as they know only they would be blamed for not conducting the re-examination.

Q: Do you apprehend the matter could linger in the court?

A. Absolutely not. We are confident that the High Court will give judgement in our favour soon. We have presented all the evidence available with us to the court. The matter will not linger in the court. Even if BPSC has deleted the CCTV footage, we have videos recorded by mobile phones, exposing irregularities in the examination.
