Motihari (Bihar), August 17: A shocking video has surfaced on social media in which a Panchayat head of a village in Bihar was involved in vulgar dance with an orchestra performer. The incident was caught on camera and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. It is being claimed that the video is from the Janmashtami celebrations.
The Mukhiya has been identified as Rajkumar Paswan, also known as Ashok Paswan, is reportedly the head of Pajiarwa Panchayat in Sugouli block of Motihari district. The video was reportedly shot during a cultural programme organised at his in-laws’ place on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami.
Vulgar Dance
The video shows the Mukhiya dancing with a female orchestra dancer. He is seen in the video indulging in obscene act with the female dancer in front of the crowd. The Panchayat head is seen dancing while holding the female dancer very close to him on a Bhojpuri song. The female dancer also kisses him in public view.
Outrage
The clip has sparked outrage among the locals and the internet users, many of whom say that such behaviour is inappropriate for an elected representative.
Another Incident
This is not the first time Paswan has been facing the ire from the people for such reasons. Earlier, another video of him dancing with a performer at a local event in his own Panchayat had gone viral, drawing similar criticism.
Police Action
There are reports that a case has been registered against the Panchayat head in connection with the vulgar dance. Motihari Police said that a case has been registered against Paswan on charges of spreading obscenity and his arrest has been ordered. The police have also said that strict action is also being taken against the organisers of the orchestra programme.
