After a 12-day pause, the Beating Retreat ceremony, which was stopped after operation Sindoor, will resume at the Attari-Wagah border in Amritsar, Punjab and Hussainiwala Border in Ferozepur from tomorrow, according to reports. However, the Indian side has decided to scale down the ceremony by keeping the gates closed and not shake hands. The ceremony was stopped after tensions escalated between the two countries.

Meanwhile, barbed wire gates will be opened for farmers from tomorrow. Minister in the Punjab Government, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal reached Ajnala border outpost Shahpur on Monday to meet BSF officers and jawans who were deployed on the border during the India-Pakistan tensions.

During this, Dhaliwal thanked the security forces on behalf of the state by presenting sweets and fruit baskets to the jawans. He said that we are proud of our jawans and in future whenever they will need us, the Punjab government and farmers will always stand with them.

Dhaliwal shared the problems of the farmers, who are farming on the other side of the barbed wire on the border with BSF officers and announced the opening of the gates for the farmers from tomorrow. Dhaliwal said that farmers will be able to go to their fields normally from tomorrow.
