Bollywood actress Preity Zinta gave fans a glimpse of her fiercely protective side during an Ask Me Anything session on X (formerly known as Twitter). On Tuesday (May 13), Preity took some time off her busy schedule to interact with her fans. She answered several questions about her professional and personal life and also revealed some lesser-known facts about herself.
In response to a fan who asked, "What’s one thing fans don’t know about you?", the Kal Ho Naa Ho actress dropped a fiery yet relatable truth bomb that’s now grabbing headlines.
"I hate taking pictures in temples, early in the morning after a flight, in bathrooms and during security checks," Preity wrote.
However, what really caught the attention of fans was her bold statement about unsolicited photography, especially when it involves her children.

"Taking my kids pictures will bring out my Kali avatar, otherwise I’m a happy person," she said, referencing the fierce goddess Kali from Hindu mythology - a symbol of rage, protection, and power.
Her reply didn't stop there. She also urged fans and paparazzi to respect her boundaries and privacy. "Don't start making videos without my permission – it's actually very irritating – Just ask me politely & please leave my kids alone."
Preity has a strict no-photos policy for her kids. She also makes sure to hide their faces when she shared their photos or videos on her official Instagram account.
It may be noted that other celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, Bipasha Basu also draw the lines when it comes to their kids being photographed.
Preity married Los Angeles-based financial analyst Gene Goodenough in 2016. The couple welcomed twins Gia and Jai through surrogacy in 2021.
On the work front, the actress is set to return to the silver screen with Rajkumar Santoshi's Lahore 1947. According to several media reports, she will also play a pivotal role in Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 4.
