Comedian Kapil Sharma's Kap's Cafe in Canada was attacked once again on Thursday, a month after it was first attacked on July 8. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang claimed responsibility for the attack, and they have now said that they targetted the comedian because of his closeness with superstar Salman Khan.
According to India Today, in a leaked audio clip, Bishnoi gang member Harry Boxer said, "The first and now second firing at Kapil Sharma's restaurant happened because he had invited Salman Khan to the inauguration on a Netflix show."

Warning to Bollywood filmmakers
Not just that but he has also warned all filmmakers in Bollywood against working with Salman. "If anyone works with Salman, whether a small-time actor or a small-time director, we will not spare anyone. We will kill them. We will go to any extent necessary to kill them," he was reportedly heard saying in the audio.
For those unversed, Salman was the first guest on the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix, which premiered on June 21. The actor has been at loggerheads with the Bishnoi gang ever since the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, in which Salman has been named the primary accused.

Attack on Kap's Cafe
Kap's Cafe was first targetted on July 8, when unknown assailants fired several rounds at the restaurant in Cannada's Surrey before driving out of the place.
After initial police investigation, the cafe was reopened and was back in business, only to be attacked once again on August 7, Thursday. As per reports, the eatery's windows were ridden with at least half a dozen bullets.
A video has also surfaced online in which an armed assailant can be seen firing multiple rounds outside the eatery.
A purported message by Goldy Dhillon, who works with the Bishnoi gang, has also gone viral. In what looks like a social media post, he wrote, "JAI SHRI RAM, Satshriakal.Ram ram sare bhaiyo ko aj jo y kapil sharma k kaps cafe..Surrey m firing hui iski jimevari, Goldy dhillon, Lawrence bishnoi gang lete h isko hamne call ki thi isko ring nhi Sunai di to karwai krni pdi ab b ring n sunegi to next karwai jaldi hi Mumbai krege (sic)."
Kapil is yet to react to the news of second attack and the threats.
