Actress Urvashi Rautela has been all over the news for the past few days, thanks to the success of her recently-released film, Daaku Maharaj. While the actress was already grabbing eyeballs with her statements and interviews, a recent report claimed that she charged a whopping Rs 3 crore for a 3-minute role in the film, and it has left netizens flabbergasted.

According to a report in ET Now, Urvashi charged Rs 1 crore per minute for her 3-minute performance, "despite a series of flops". The report stated that Urvashi's net worth is somewhere around Rs 236 crore, and a major chunk of it comes from her social media and public appearances. The actress has 73 million followers on Instagram alone.

One of the major reasons why Daaku Maharaj garnered buzz was the actress' song in the film, titled Dabidi Dibidi, with the male lead Nandamuri Balakrishna, although it made it to the news for all wrong reasons.

The hook step of the song was labelled as "vulgar" and what made it worse is the staggering age gap of 34 years between Urvashi and Balakrishna.

After minting Rs 125 crore at the box office, Daaku Maharaj made its way to OTT and it began streaming on Netflix on February 21. When the streaming giant first announced the film to be launched on their platform, they omitted Urvashi completely from the film's official Netflix poster, leaving her fans aghast.

Later, reports also went viral that Urvashi's scenes from the OTT version of Daaku Maharaj have been deleted, but turns out that all of it was untrue.

The streaming giant stated that nothing has been cut in the OTT version and the same theatrical version will be streamed on the platform. To compensate for the poster fiasco, Netflix also shared another post related to Daaku Maharaj on Instagram, with two stills of Urvashi from the film in it.
