Fresh off her win on Amazon Prime Video’s hit reality series The Traitors, Uorfi Javed is still taking it all in. Known for her unfiltered opinions and bold personality, Uorfi emerged as the ultimate mastermind, beating fan favourites and proving her game prowess. She shared the winner title with her co-contestant and poker player Nikita Luther. In this candid post-win conversation with The Free Press Journal, Uorfi reflects on her fights, friendships, and the backlash she’s facing online. From her heated conflicts with Apoorva Mukhija & Sufi Motiwala to being shipped with fellow contestant Harsh Gujral, Uorfi doesn’t hold back.
On her big fight with Apoorva Mukhija AKA The Rebel Kid and her agenda to 'make Uorfi lose’, the fashion content creator said, “I didn’t know that she said she wanted me to lose. I was really focused on winning the game. I didn’t know that she was focused on making me lose. I think that she is a smart girl, but this ruined her game. She was focused on getting me out. I think she couldn’t do it right. I don’t have any enmity. Smart girl, best wishes to her.”
On her tiff with Sufi Motiwala, Uorfi made sure to be the bigger person and said she holds no grudges. "He is a good boy, my best wishes to him. Fights happen; it was a show and all of these clashes keep happening. I don’t hate anyone. Life is short. Someone will die tomorrow and we will think, 'Why did we do that to them?' So, it's all chill."
Uorfi also opened up about being shipped with Harsh Gujral and eliminating him in the end, "It wasn't Bigg Boss, it was a game show, right? Either I win or he wins. It was just a game. I couldn’t do anything. If he was innocent, we would have won together. If was on our team, him, Nikita (Luther), and I would have won."
However, despite winning fairly, Uorfi has been at the receiving end of brutal online hate, including rape threats and misogynistic slurs. “People don’t understand that this was a game show. It was not like a normal reality show. This was not about how much content was given in the show. This was a game where you had to find the traitor. The one who found the traitor, won,” she explained.
