Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina made it to the headlines recently after their episode of India's Got Latent came on YouTube. In the episode, Ranveer asked a contestant, "Would rather see your parents have sex for your entire life or join them once and stop it?" Now, this didn't go down well with the people on social media, and FIR has been filed against Ranveer and Samay.

A lot of celebs have posted about it on social media, and most of them have slammed the show and the humour used in it. However, Uorfi Javed and Rakhi Sawant have come out in support of the YouTubers.

Meanwhile, Dil Ko Rafu Karr Lei actress Ayesha Khan has taken a dig at the authorities amid the whole controversy. She shared a post on her Insta story which reads, "Problems we are facing. Terrible roads, massive traffic jams, air pollution, general safety, dark comedy on a dark comedy platform."

She further added, "Solution - Action to be taken on the most serious topic, varna kahi development na ruk jaye. Only if there was similar outrage for problems bigger than this in the country."

According to reports, Mumbai Police has summoned Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia for questioning. They have been asked to cooperate in the India’s Got Latent controversy and present their side before the investigating officer.

While Samay is yet to give any statement on it, the video from his channel has been removed. However, Ranveer shared a video on Instagram apologizing for what he said.

In the video, he has said,  "My comment wasn't just inappropriate, it wasn't even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry. Many of you asked if this is how I wish to use my platform and obviously, this is not how I wish to use it. I am not going to give any context or justification or reasoning behind whatever happened. I am just here for an apology."
