Actor Shah Rukh Khan, who has dominated the Hindi film industry for more than 32 years, has no plans to retire. On Saturday (August 16), during his #AskSRK session on X (formerly Twitter), a user suggested he retire and let others shine.

A user, who asked him to retire, also age-shamed him, saying, "Bhai ab umar ho gayi, retirement lelo, dusre bache logon ko aage aane do…" Shah Rukh did not hold back and responded, "Bhai Tere sawaalon ka bachpana jab chala jaaye…Phir kuch acchha saa puchna! Tab tak temporary retirement mein reh please."

Shah Rukh Khan, who won his first National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Atlee’s Jawan, responded to a fan’s question about the award.
A fan asked, "How do you feel after winning the national award? national award ya janta ka pyaar?" The Bollywood star responded, "YAY!!!!! I feel like the King of the Nation!!! Too much honour and too much responsibility to try and excel and work harder!!"
Shah Rukh Khan's First Reaction After National Award Announcement
After the National Film Award announcement, Shah Rukh had posted a clip about his win. In a heartfelt video message, SRK appeared dressed in a black t-shirt and beanie, with his arm in a sling. The actor is currently recovering from an injury he reportedly sustained while filming his upcoming action drama King.
Despite being injured, the actor didn't let that stop him from striking his signature arms-spread pose - albeit with just one arm this time.
He shared, "Needless to say I'm overwhelmed with gratitude, pride and humility. To be honoured with the National Award is a moment that I will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you so much to the jury, the chairman and to the INB ministry and to everyone who thought I was worthy of this honour."
Thanking the Indian government, the actor stated, "This award is for you, as each award is. And yeah, I would love to spread my arms for you and share my love, but I'm a bit indisposed. But don't worry, just keep the popcorn ready. I'll be back in theaters and soon on the screen. So till then, just with one hand. Ready."

On the work front, Khan will be seen next in King, which stars his daughter Suhana Khan in the lead.
