Saiyaara starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda created an amazing pre-release buzz because of the music and songs. The film has hit the big screens today (July 18, 2025), and it has received positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. The advance booking was excellent; it was clearly expected that the film would take an opening of around Rs. 15-20 crore. However, the day one collection of Saiyaara might shock one and all.
As per early estimates, it looks like Saiyaara might collect around Rs. 20-25 crore, and if there’s a huge jump during the night shows, we won’t be surprised if the film mints more than Rs. 25 crore on its first day. It will be the highest opening for a movie starring newcomers.
If we talk about the first weekend collection, then Saiyaara can easily collect around Rs. 70-80 crore, which will be an excellent amount. While the budget of the film is not yet revealed, it looks like during the first weekend itself, the budget will be recovered.
Saiyaara’s opening numbers prove that the audience is looking forward to watching romantic musicals, and good songs can do wonders for the film. Also, we cannot ignore the fact that Mohit Suri does have an audience who eagerly wait for his romantic films, as the filmmaker has helmed movies like Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, Half Girlfriend, and Malang.

Meanwhile, Anupam Kher's directorial Tanvi The Great is heading for a disastrous opening. The film on its day one might collect around Rs. 30 lakh. The film has received mixed reviews, so we can't expect a huge jump over the weekend as well.
