Rashmika Mandanna reacted to Pushpa 2 co-star Allu Arjun's arrest arrest in connection with the stampede that occurred during the film's premiere at Sandhya Theatre, which resulted in a woman's death. Extending her support, the actress called it 'unfortunate' and 'deeply saddening.'
Taking to her Instagram story, Mandanna wrote, "I can't believe what I am seeing right now.. The incident that happened was an unfortunate and deeply saddening incident."
"However, it is disheartening to see everything being blamed on a single individual. This situation is both unbelievable and heartbreaking," added Rashmika.

The recent update in the case is that Allu Arjun, who was earlier remanded to 14 days of judicial custody, has been now granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court.
Earlier today, after Allu Arjun's arrest, the husband of the deceased said that he is willing to withdraw his case and that the actor has no connection with the stampede or his wife's passing.
Speaking with reporters hours on Friday, Bhaskar said, "We only went to Sandhya Theatre that day because my son wanted to watch the movie. It's not Allu Arjun's fault that he visited the theatre that day. I am ready to withdraw my case. Police didn't inform me of his arrest, I watched it on the news at the hospital. He (Arjun) has nothing to do with stampede."

Allu Arjun's lawyer drew parallels to a similar case involving Shah Rukh Khan, who faced legal scrutiny after a stampede occurred at Vadodara railway station during a promotional event for his film Raees, where a person died and others were left injured and unconscious.
