It is Raksha Bandhan today (August 9, 2025) and just like every festival, our Bollywood celebrities are sharing their pictures and videos on social media to inform their fans how they are celebrating Rakhi. Many actors like Kangana Ranaut, Akshay Kumar, and others took to social media to share pictures and videos from their Raksha Bandhan celebrations.
Kangana Ranaut tweeted pictures in which she is tying Rakhi to her brother, Akshit Ranaut. She wrote, "Rakshabandhan ki hardik shubhkamnaen #RakshaBandhan2025 #RakshaBandan (sic)."
Akshay Kumar shared a picture of his sister tying in a Rakhi and wrote, "Aankhein band hai, toh maa dikh rahi hai. Aur aankhein khol kar teri smile. Love you Alka. Happy Rakhi (sic)."
Sajid Nadiadwala's wife, Warda Nadiadwala, also tied Rakhi to Akshay and she tweeted, "Long live my brother @akshaykumar wishing u abundance of health wealth love success, may u always stay protected from every envious evil eyes….. And may the envelope on my Rakhi Thaali get heavier and heaviest……….. Happy Raksha Bandhan everyone (sic)."

Arjun Kapoor, who has six sisters, Janhvi Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, and Shanaya Kapoor, posted on Instagram, "With six sisters, it means six times the drama, the chaos, the fights, and the banter, but also immeasurable love. Happy Raksha Bandhan."
