According to reports, Shefali had taken an anti-ageing injection in the afternoon on the day of her death, a treatment she had been undergoing for years, and she was also fasting due to a puja at home on June 27. Her health reportedly deteriorated between 10 and 11 PM.

A few days ago, Parag paid an emotional tribute by adorning the walls of their Mumbai home with Shefali’s photos and cherished memories they shared together, including moments with their beloved pet dog, Simba. Parag also opened up about how both he and Simba are grieving the heartbreaking loss of Shefali.
He mentioned that the reel was meant for his friends, who had been worried and concerned about him and Simba, and were asking how they’ve been coping with the loss.
"So sharing our beautiful moments of togetherness with you all & this is the way we're trying to cope up. Having Pari all around. Pari is in our heart, in our breath, in our soul, in every cell of our body. Keep loving her, keep praying for her. May God bless each and everyone of you. Lots and lots of love from Pari," added Parag.
