Singer Rahul Vaidya has been making headlines of late after his post calling former Team India skipper Virat Kohli and his fans "joker" went viral. And as the controversy has now blown up, cricketers Yuzvendra Chahal and Krunal Pandya seem to have unfollowed the singer.
On Wednesday, netizens noticed that both Chahal and Pandya, who used to follow Rahul earlier, unfollowed him silently without any clarification. This comes after fans bombarded Chahal's Instagram posts with comments, asking him to unfollow Rahul, who according to the fans, disrespected Kohli.

What is the Rahul Vaidya-Virat Kohli row?
It all began after Rahul took to his Instagram handle on May 5 and posted a note which read, "Virat Kohli’s fans are even bigger jokers than Virat! (sic)”. He later also claimed that the Royal Challenger Bengaluru player's fans were abusing his family members online.
"And now u r abusing me that's fine but u r abusing my wife my sister.. who have nothing to do with this! So I was right that's why you all Virat kohli fans are jokers! 2 kaudi ke jokers (sic)," he wrote.
He also claimed that Kohli had blocked him on social media, and demanded to know the reason behind the uncalled for move.

Virat Kohli's 'like' controversy
Recently, Kohli grabbed eyeballs after he ‘liked’ a picture of actress Avneet Kaur that was shared by her fan page on Instagram. And soon after the buzz around his move gained momentum, he issued a statement clarifying the same.

“I'd like clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding (sic),” he stated.

While Avneet remained tightlipped, it was noted that the actress gained almost 2 million followers overnight, and she reportedly even bagged 12 brand endorsements.
