The first song of Param Sundari titled Pardesiya created a fantastic pre-release buzz for the film. The second track Bheegi Saree received a mixed response, and now, the makers have unveiled the trailer of the movie. Maddock Films took to X (Twitter) to share the trailer, and wrote, "Dilli ka munda Param is bringing full-on Punjabiyon ka swag aur siyappa to Sundari’s God’s Own Country! The biggest love story of the year — #ParamSundari. Presented by Dinesh Vijan, directed by Tushar Jalota, in cinemas 29th August."
Well, the trailer of Param Sundari is strictly average and the film looks like a run-of-the-mill South meets North love story. The trailer shows that Paran (Sidharth Mahotra) along with his friend has come to Kerala and there he meets Sundari (Janhvi Kapoor). The two fall in love and like all the love stories even they have to face a lot of hurdles.
If we talk about performances, Janhvi grabs our attention the most. Her monologue at the end of the trailer is impressive. Sidharth is looking handsome in the trailer, and his performance is decent.
There's a song that we get to hear in the trailer, 'Laal colour ki saree mein kudiye tu danger lagti hai'. The track sounds very peppy, and we are surely looking forward to it.
We have high expectations from Param Sundari, but the trailer has failed to impress us. However, let's hope that the movie turns out to be better.
Param Sundari is an important film for both Sidharth and Janhvi, as their last few theatrical releases have failed to make a mark at the box office. So, it will be interesting to see what response the movie will get at the ticket windows.
