Shanaya Kapoor is finally all set to make her big Bollywood debut in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan opposite actor Vikrant Massey. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on July 11, next Friday, and its trailer, unveiled on Tuesday, has fans praising her portrayal of Saba Shergill, a theatre artist. Shanaya, who was earlier slated to debut with Bedhadak, directed by Shashank Khaitan, will now mark her official entry into films with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, after Bedhadak, announced in 2022, was eventually shelved.
Amid the buzz, Shanaya's rumoured boyfriend, Karan Kothari, took to social media to praise her, sharing that her time has finally arrived.

Taking to his Instagram Story, he shared a photo of Shanaya from the trailer and penned a sweet poem that read: "The world said, Wait your turn.' She said, 'Watch me earn it.' No fast-forwards. No shortcuts. Just a real-life script written in sweat. Destiny winks. Opportunity and Preparation hand in hand. Now the lights are on. And the world finally sees what she saw all along."

However, neither Shanaya nor Karan has confirmed their relationship.
About Karan Kothari
According to Hindustan Times, Shanaya has been in a relationship with Karan Kothari, who does not belong to the film industry. He is the son of Avinash Kothari, the owner of Kothari Fine Jewels, a luxury jewellery brand and Shanaya worked for it as a model.
Shanaya and Karan reportedly went to college together in Los Angeles.
A source told HT, "Shanaya has not posted anything about her beau, and it’s quite obvious that she wouldn’t talk about him. However, he has been her plus-one to many Bollywood parties, and she has even introduced him as her partner to her colleagues."
