Actress Elnaaz Norouzi grabbed eyeballs with her stint in the reality game show, The Traitors. While she was chosen as one of the traitors on the show, she was unmasked a few weeks before the finale, and was thus ousted from the show by the other contestants. In an exclusive chat with Free Press Journal, Elnaaz says that she could have played the game better had her fellow traitor, Purav Jha, not pushed her under the bus.

"Purav played the game dirty. He kept trying to get me out and replace me because he did not understand the power that I had. If he would have understood that, he would have realised that I was a really good traitor and with that, we could have won -- Purav and I together as traitors. But that's where he went wrong. It's important to keep good traitors close to you," she explained.

Elnaaz also felt that Apoorva Mukhija played the game well, and if given the opportunity, she would have chosen her as one of the traitors alongside herself. "Apoorva played really well. She is very smart. Out of the players that we had, I would choose myself, Apoorva and Sudhanshu to be traitors," she averred.

During a task at the very beginning of the show, Elnaaz was left all alone after the other contestants chose each other's names as their 'trusted ones', and no one, not even the actress' close friend Sahil Salathia, picked her. The Sacred Games fame tells us that it has been her situation all her life.

"I was standing there alone, but this has been my story my entire life. I always show up for people, but mostly people don't show up for me. So it wasn't a very unfamiliar feeling. But I also didn't take it personally because it was a game," she shared.

Elnaaz also reacted to netizens wondering if The Traitors was a scripted show. "There was no script whatsoever. We were not given any prompts; we were just doing everything on our own. There was never a script. If there was a script, then I would have been the winner of the show, trust me," she quipped.

On a parting note, Elnaaz confirmed that she has no interest in being part of other reality shows like Bigg Boss. "I don't want to participate in Bigg Boss. I did The Traitors only because of the concept, because it required brain strategy, physical work. It required so much more than just being in a house and fighting with different people," she concluded.
