Akshay Kumar impressed one and all with his performance in Sky Force, and now, he is all set for his second release of the year Kesari Chapter 2. The movie, which also stars R Madhavan and Ananya Panday, is slated to hit the big screens on April 18, 2025. On Monday, the makers released the teaser of the film, and it is very impressive.
The teaser starts with just the voices of people who were killed in Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Those few seconds will surely give you goosebumps. Later, Akshay Kumar is introduced as C. Sankaran Nair, the lawyer who fought a case against the then Lieutenant-Governor of Punjab, Sir Michael O'Dwyer after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
Akshay took to Instagram to share the teaser and wrote, "He held his head high. He beat them at their game. He told them where to go. A genocide India must know about. A revolution painted in courage. #KesariChapter2 teaser out now!"
After watching the teaser, we can say that Akshay looks perfect as Nair. There's a scene where a character tells the actor, "Don't forget you are still the slave of British Empire." To this Akshay replies, "F*ck You." Also, the song in the background 'Shera' surely grabs are attention.
Kesari Chapter 2 is directed by debutant director Karan Singh Tyagi, and after watching the teaser, now we can't wait for the trailer of the film. A few days ago, Karan Johar had posted about Karan that he is the 24th debutant director that Dharma Productions is launching. He had also mentioned that the 90% of directors that Dharma have launched have been outsiders.
Well, the teaser just shows Akshay, but we are looking forward to R Madhavan and Ananya's performance as well. This will be Ananya's first period film, and after Call Me Bae we surely have high expectations from her.
