Kesari Chapter 2 is based on a book titled The Case That Shook The Empire, by Pushpa Palat and Raghu Palat.

According to the reports, Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of a lawyer. Panday's character, on the other hand, seeks guidance from him. There will be no romantic angle between the duo.

Kesari featured Akshay Kumar in the lead and was released in 2019, where he portrayed Havildar Ishar Singh, a brave soldier. The film was based on the incredible true story of the Battle of Saragarhi. Parineeti Chopra also played a significant role in the film.

Kesari Chapter 2 will explore an entirely different historical event and will be directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. The movie is backed by Dharma Productions, Cape Of Good Films, and Leo Media Collective.
