Stand-up comedian and actor Kapil Sharma is back with the third season of his show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, on Netflix. The first episode of the latest season, which featured superstar Salman Khan as guest, streamed on June 21 and several clips from the show have been doing the rounds on social media. Kapil became a household name with his acts and recently, his fees for the show has also been revealed.
According to a report in The Siasat Daily, Kapil charges a whopping amount of Rs 5 crore for each episode of the show. He has been charging the same amount since Season 1. The comedian had earned Rs 65 crore from the first season as it featured 13 episodes.
The report further stated that Kapil earned the same amount from the second season and his fees will be the same for the third season as well. If that's the case, Kapil would make a further Rs 65 crore, making his total earnings from this series Rs 195 crore.

Meanwhile, The Great Indian Kapil Show saw the return of Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur and Kiku Sharda. Navjot Singh Sidhu has also reunited with Kapil for the ongoing season.
The show has been created by Kapil Sharma and is produced by Kapil, Akshit Lahoria and Gurjot Singh.
Kapil began his journey in the entertainment industry as a contestant on the comedy reality show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, which he won in 2007. His wit and relatable humour made him a household name.
He went on to host successful shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show, becoming one of India's most beloved comedians.
Apart from television, Kapil also ventured into films with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon and lent his voice to animated features.
