Actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani stepped out with wife-actress Rakul Preet Singh in Mumbai on Wednesday, and the couple had a rather awkward encounter with a young fan. Jackky was taken aback when the enthusiastic fan came too close to them for a picture, and he was seen reacting to it instantly.
In a video which is now going viral, Rakul and Jackky can be seen posing together for the paps, and that is when a young fan requested for a picture. The couple obliged, but the fan then got too close and wrapped his arm around Jackky's waist, and that is when he asked him to step back.
While gesturing him to maintain some distance, Jackky joked, "Ye toh kamar mein haath daal raha hai yaar," and even the fan looked visibly embarrassed. However, the couple obliged him with photos and maintained their calm throughout.
While some lauded Jackky for handling the situation in a composed manner, others expressed their concerns about excited fans getting too close to actors in public.
Jackky and Rakul Preet's upcoming projects
On the work front, Jackky last acted in the 2018 film, Mitron, post which he turned a full-time producer with father, Vashu Bhagnani. He last produced Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Reportedly, he has two more films -- Suryaputra Mahavir Karna and Mission Lion in the pipeline as a producer.
Rakul, on the other hand, was last seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi. She is reportedly set to play the role of Surpanakha in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. The film will star Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Laxman, and Yash as Ravana, among others.
