Actor Kushal Tandon announced in the wee hours of Sunday that he has parted ways with Shivangi Joshi. The actor penned the note on his social media around 2:30 am, but what caught the attention of the netizens was that he deleted it within five minutes.
"To all the people I love, jus wanted to say, me and Shivangi are not together any more, it's been 5 months so yes (sic)," the note read.

And before fans could wrap their heads around the news, Kushal deleted it from his Instagram stories, and made no further noise about it.
Kushal's announcement of the breakup came after fans speculated if the two had headed for splitsville. Both Kushal and Shivangi, who were high on social media PDA until a few months ago, unfollowed each other on Instagram, and the move did not go unnoticed by their fans.
In fact, some wondered if Shivangi had blocked Kushal online, given the fact that the actors likes and comments have suddenly disappeared from her Instagram posts.
Kushal and Shivangi reportedly fell in love on the sets of their show Barsatein — Mausam Pyaar Ka. The show premiered in July 2023 and went off-air in February 2024. In October last year, Kushal had confirmed his relationship with Shivangi and had also opened up on marriage plans. Opening up on his parents wanting him to get married, he had said, "Vaise dekha jaye toh kuch bhi ho sakta hai, kabhi bhi. But the best part is that the search for a suitable girl for me by my parents has stopped now."
In March this year, Shivangi had wished Kushal on his birthday with a loved-up note. "May this year bring you happiness, success, and everything your heart desires. Hope it’s filled with exciting opportunities, growth, and beautiful moments that make you truly smile...Wishing you everything good in life...Lots of love (sic)," she wrote.
