Bigg Boss 18 fame Kashish Kapoor was robbed by her cook, Sachin Kumar Chaudhary, who allegedly stole cash from her home in Mumbai's Andheri. Though she had hinted at the incident on social media for days, after the news broke on Sunday (July 13), Kashish shared a YouTube video revealing shocking details and broke down in tears, admitting her family was unaware of the theft.
Cook Assaults Kashish Kapoor, Steals Cash
Kashish revealed that she had kept ₹7 lakh in cash at her home and was planning to deposit it into her mother’s account on July 9, just a day before flying to Singapore for work commitments. When she checked her locker, she was shocked to find the envelope empty. Realising her cook had just left, she quickly stopped him in the lift and asked him to return.
"Maine usse kaha, 'Apna pocket dikhao,' par woh mana kar raha tha. Maine bohot zidd ki, phir mujhe ₹50,000 uske pocket se dikh gaye. Tab mujhe sab samajh aa gaya. Itne der mein, jaise hi main apna phone uthati, the next thing I know, I was pinned against the wall. He said, 'Don’t call or tell anybody.' In that moment, my mind was in fight-or-flight mode, I had to protect myself. Toh maine kaha, 'Theek hai, mere ghar se nikal jao, aur mujhe dobara apni shakal mat dikhana,'" she added.

Cook Escapes Despite Kashish's Effort
Kashish shared that after asking her cook to leave from her home, she immediately contacted her security guard to stop him, but he managed to flee. In a desperate attempt, she ran down the stairs from the 20th floor. "I was sick to my stomach, felt like puking on the way, thinking, 'What the f*ck is happening?’ But I told myself, ‘F*ck it, you can die later—right now, you have to stop this.'"
No Assurance From Police
Later, she revealed that she contacted the cops to register a complain against the cook, however, she was told that there was no assurance if her money would be returned or not.
Kashish shared that her parents were unaware of the theft that had occurred in her house, as she didn’t want to stress them.

Kashish added, "I feel so betrayed. Mujhe shaq tha, par koi saboot nahi tha. He betrayed my trust and how! I caught him red-handed, and he still had the audacity to lie and say, 'Maine sirf 50,000 churaye.' Maine Sunday ko paise ginne the. I still have the receipts of the payments I have taken."
