As the Housefull franchise completes 15 years since the release of its first installment in 2010, the makers unveiled the teaser of Housefull 5 on Wednesday (April 30). The brief video teases another chaotic, star-studded comedy, this time set aboard a cruise ship.
While the teaser gives little away in terms of plot, it parades a massive ensemble cast led by Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Riteish Deshmukh. Also featured are Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, Chitrangda Singh, Fardeen Khan, Jackie Shroff and others, many of whom are returning to the franchise, alongside a few new faces.
The teaser sets the tone by introducing the characters and hinting at a suspense element - there's a 'killer' on board the cruise. However, the identity remains hidden, with the mysterious figure dressed in all black and face concealed under a mask.

Actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Soundarya Sharma makes a brief appearance, dancing to the track Laal Pari, which plays throughout the 1-minute-16-second teaser.
The teaser promises familiar ingredients like slapstick humour, mistaken identities, flashy sets, and song-and-dance spectacles.
Whether the upcoming film reinvents its formula or simply ups the ante on its usual chaos remains to be seen. For now, the teaser sets the stage for yet another round of exaggerated comedy, crowded frames, and family-friendly fun.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner, Housefull 5 is scheduled to release in theatres on June 6, 2025.
The film also stars Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.
