After months of anticipation and hype, Coolie, starring Rajinikanth, finally released in theatres on Thursday and it is no less than a festival for his fans. People were seen thronging theatres to watch the film, and fans danced, poured milk on posters, and carried flowers on their heads, all of it to welcome the superstar back in theatres.
A video from a theatre in Mumbai has now gone viral in which fans can be seen dancing in front of the screen wearing t-shirts with Rajinikanth's face on it, that too in the early hours of Thursday.
In another video from outside Mukunda theatre in Bengaluru, Karnataka, fans can be seen having gathered for the first day, first show of Coolie, and before entering the cinema hall, they were seen dancing their hearts out to the beats of dhol.

A massive cutout of Rajinikanth was erected outside the theatre and another poster was propped up which read, "50 years of Rajinism".
In Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli, women carried flowers on their heads as part of a religious ritual and men danced to the sound of drums as they prayed for Rajinikanth and his film Coolie.
Coolie is poised to shatter all records at the box office as the film is expected to open with Rs 100 crore, despite its clash with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's War 2. Coolie already minted around Rs 30 crore in Indian through advanced bookings, and overseas, it earned Rs 40 crore even before its release.
Besides Rajinikanth, Coolie also stars Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj and Upendra in key roles. It has been directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
