The brand, owned by Smita Shrinivas, shared screenshots showing that when she asked for compensation or for the gown to be bought back, they offered Rs 40,000, less than half the gown’s price, to settle the matter. Kashish revealed she had Rs 7 lakh in cash at home, which went missing from her locker just before her Singapore trip. When she confronted the cook, she found Rs 50,000 in his pocket. He then pinned her against the wall, warning her not to call anyone. In self-defence, she told him to leave and never show up again.
