Rapper-singer Badshah, aka aka Aditya Pratik Singh Sisodiya, recently grabbed headlines after making a controversial statement on social media about British singer Dua Lipa. On Friday, in a post shared on X, the Jugnu singer responded to a fan's query by saying he would "rather have babies with her" — a remark that didn't sit well with many netizens, who slammed him for being "cheap" and "creepy." The following day, Badshah defended his comment, calling it a "beautiful compliment."
Reacting to this, Yo Yo Honey Singh took a hilarious dig at his rival Badshah for justifying the controversial remark. On Saturday evening, Honey Singh couldn't resist chiming in on a media post about Badshah. He wrote, "Genius" followed by laughing and clapping hand emojis, seeming to mock his rival's explanation.

On Saturday, the rapper took to his X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "I think one of the most beautiful compliments that you could give to a woman that you really admire is to wish for her to mother your children. Meri soch nahi, tumhari soch saamne aayi hai."
Soon after Badshah clarified his statement, he faced fresh backlash for calling it a "compliment." One user commented, "Kaisa wahiyat cover-up tha bhai," while another questioned, "Since when did 'rather make babies' start translating into 'I want her to be mother of my kids'???"
Honey Singh and Badshah have a long-standing feud that has reportedly lasted over 15 years.
The two began their careers together as members of the rap group Mafia Mundeer, which also featured Ikka, Lil Golu, and Raftaar. The band delivered many hit tracks such as Khol Botal, Begani Naar Buri and Delhi ke Deewane. After a public tiff, the duo went separate ways and regularly took potshots at each other on social media.
However, Badshah publicly ended his feud with Honey Singh at a concert in Dehradun earlier this year, during his performance at GraFest 2024.
