Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who previously repurposed her white gown from her fairytale 2017 wedding to Naga Chaitanya into a black beaded bodice gown, has now reportedly transformed her engagement ring into a pendant. This shocking claim was made by Surat-based jewellery designer Dhrumit Merulia on his social media handle.
Sharing a video, Dhrumit explained that the actress is often spotted wearing the pendant regularly. He also mentioned that she is not the only one to have repurposed her engagement ring after the divorce, he also called it a 'growing trend.'

"Many people are even buying new divorce rings to celebrate their new life," he claimed in a video.
In 2024, Samantha wore a revamped version of her wedding gown at an awards ceremony, which was designed by her close friend, designer Kresha Bajaj.
Samantha also shared monochrome pictures of her in the gown, writing, "We cannot ignore sustainability anymore. We’re past that stage when it was a choice. It’s now a necessity for the longevity of our planet that we call home. The dress I am wearing today is a beloved gown that has been repurposed for this occasion by the most talented @kreshabajajofficial."
Samantha tied the knot to Naga in 2017 and in 2021, they announced separation in a joint statement.
The duo have also worked in films like Majili, Ye Maaya Chesave and Autonagar Surya.
Meanwhile, Samantha is rumored to be dating Citadel: Honey Bunny director Raj Nidimoru.
Chaitanya remarried actress Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, 2024, at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
