Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge, best known for the film, Chak De! India, finally revealed the face of her first child with former Team India cricketer Zaheer Khan, on the occasion of Father's Day. Sharing a photo of Zaheer with their son, the actress wrote how their bundle of joy had the best example right in front of him.
"I’m not the one to write captions, but today I am - because someday our son will read this, and he needs to know. He is so incredibly lucky to have you. The love you have for everyone, the way you’re always looking out for others, the grit, the resilience, the quiet strength - if he grows up to be even a little like you, he’ll be someone truly special (sic)," Sagarika penned in a special note for Zaheer.
She went on to say, "The way you care for everyone who crosses your path, the way you hold steady when things get tough, and your strength to stay silent and still say a thousand words—those are the things that make you who you are (sic)."
"Our son has the best example right in front of him. Happy Fathers Day (sic)," she concluded.
It was on April 16 when Sagarika and Zaheer took everyone by surprise as they announced that they had welcomed their first child -- a baby boy. They named the little one, Fatehsinh Khan.
The name of their son is a tribute to both their roots. While the first name is a tribute to Sagarika's royal family roots and her father Vijaysinh Ghatge, the last name is in accordance to Zaheer's family name.
After secretly dating for quite some time, Sagarika and Zaheer got engaged in April 2017. In the same year, the lovebirds tied the knot in a grand ceremony in November.
Sagarika marked her acting debut with Shah Rukh Khan's 2007 film, Chak De! India, in which she played the match-winning hockey player, Preeti Sabharwal. She has also starred in films like Fox, Miley Naa Miley Hum, Rush, and the Marathi film, Premachi Goshta.In 2015, she was one of the finalists on the reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 9.
