Actress Celina Jaitly has been away from the silver screen for 14 years. She was last seen as a lead in the 2011 romantic comedy film Thank You. Since then, she made a special appearance in the 2012 film Will You Marry Me? Her fans have been eagerly waiting for her comeback, and now she has dropped a major hint about returning to Bollywood, sparking excitement among fans.

On Friday, Celina shared a throwback video on her Instagram handle from the time she was pregnant with twins for the second time. In the video, she can be seen sitting on a stair chair lift, unable to walk due to Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD).

Sharing the video, she wrote, "#Throwback to 6th month of my 2nd consecutive TWIN PREGNANCY (7 years ago). Couldn’t walk because of Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD) - Anyone else who had this?"

In the comments section, a fan asked, "We miss you a lot. When will you come back to Bollywood?" To this, Celina replied, "Soon," adding a rose emoji.

She was last seen in the 2020 short film Season's Greetings, which premiered on an OTT platform and was directed by Ram Kamal Mukherjee. However, this did not mark her theatrical comeback as an actress.

Earlier this year, in February, Celina was in Mumbai for work-related reasons, which could be linked to her comeback film.

Earlier, in a 2020 interview with Hindustan Times, she shared that she had taken a break from cinema as she was 'tired and exhausted' by how difficult it kept getting for an outsider to constantly strive for roles that truly celebrated the actor within.

"Having to constantly prove myself, I just got fed up of trying to please everyone and reached a point where I said ‘okay gotta take a break’, do some other things in life, recharge batteries and then whenever I’m ready, I will come back again," she added.
