Celebrity MasterChef has started and many famous TV actors like Gaurav Khanna, Dipika Kakkar, Tejasswi Prakash, Usha Nadkarni, Chandan Prabhakar, Niki Tamboli, Archana Gautam, and others are a part of the show. It premiered on Sony TV on January 27, 2025, and it has been getting a good response from the audiences.
Well, its a cooking reality show, and the makers have surely got very interesting contestants for the first season of Indian Celebrity MasterChef. Recently, on Sony TV, a video of Gaurav was shared in which he has revealed why he decided to do the show.
Gaurav has given three reasons for doing Celebrity MasterChef. The actor says, "First reason is that whenever I do a show, after that I want to do something totally different. So, after acting, this is ball hit out of the park. I am doing something that my audience, my viewers won't believe, and even I can't believe it."
He further added, "Number 2, I am a foodie, and I wanted to know the intricacies of cooking. So, what's better than Masterchef? Third thing is that in many countries this show is going on from the 90s. So, there must be something that people are liking it and that's why I wanted to be a part of something like this, and this is the first season where celebs from India are contestants. So, I really wanted to do it."
Gaurav has been in the TV industry from the past many years, and he has been a part of shows like Kumkum, Meri Doli Tere Angana, Tere Bin, and more. But, he rose to fame with the show Anupamaa in which he was seen as Anuj Kapadia. He was paired opposite Rupali Ganguly, and their chemistry was loved by one and all. Gaurav left the show last year, and his fans were quite upset that they won't get to see Anuj in Anupamaa.
However, we are sure that now Gaurav's fans are excited to watch him in Celebrity MasterChef in which he is going to show his cooking skills.
