Plot overview
Aravind Rajagopal's film Astharam is a crime thriller that delves into a series of mysterious suicides. The story centres around Inspector Akilan, who is on medical leave due to a hand injury. Things take an intriguing turn when Akilan uncovers an unusual death in the city ruled by suicide and decides to investigate the case. The investigation reveals that the suicides are particularly peculiar, with victims found stabbing themselves in a similar manner. Will Akilan be able to solve this bizarre case?
