Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur is set for his theatrical release with Metro...In Dino, a spiritual sequel to the 2007 film Life in a... Metro, nearly two years, having last appeared in the 2023 film Gumraah. On Wednesday, May 28, the makers unveiled the film's first song, titled Zamaana Lage, at a grand launch event in Mumbai.
During the event, composer Pritam, who has composed all the songs for the film, confirmed that Aditya has made his singing debut in the movie. Pritam was heard saying, "We have seen in the West that the stars in musicals sing their own songs and in this too, the musicals in Adi's voice are his own and he is sounding amazing."

Further, it was revealed that Metro...In Dino will have almost 10-12 tracks in the film.
Aditya expressed his excitement about being part of Metro...In Dino, revealing that he has always been a big fan of Life in a... Metro. He said he loved the original film and was eager to be a part of its spiritual sequel.
He added, "As an actor, when you're shooting songs, you have these beautiful lyrics that you have to act like you're singing — and it adds so much depth to everything. The songs always help take the story forward, and I’m looking forward to hearing all ten. I haven’t heard all of them yet, but I’m sure they’re going to be amazing."
Metro...In Dino features an ensemble cast including Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sen Sharma, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
The film is scheduled to release on July 4, 2025.
