Government ITI Aliganj has partnered with Tata Motors Lucknow to provide stipend-based technical training under the Dual System of Training (DST) scheme. Students from 16 trades including fitter, electrician and CNC machine operations will receive ₹10,100 monthly stipend during their six-month practical training at the Tata plant, along with complimentary canteen and transport facilities.

The program combines 1.5 years of institutional training with half-year industry exposure. Vocational Education Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal stated this initiative aims to bridge the skill gap while supporting economically disadvantaged students. Government ITI Aliganj, currently ranked as UP's top ITI, has previously placed students in Maruti Suzuki, Hindustan Lever and other major companies through similar industry collaborations.

Admissions for the 2025-26 session remain open until June 5 through the SCVT Uttar Pradesh portal. The institute has deployed awareness teams across colleges to promote this industry-academia integration model that enhances employability while providing financial support during training.
