Today, July 21, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC-NET June 2025 exam results. Between June 25 and June 29, 2025, 10 shifts of the computer-based exam covering 85 subjects were held in 285 Indian cities. 7,51,907 of the 10,19,751 candidates who enrolled for the exam actually showed up. The test establishes eligibility for PhD programs, Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), and Assistant Professor jobs.

To check the UGC NET scores 2025, candidates need to follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, under the "Candidate Activity", click on the "UGC-NET June 2025: Click Here For Scorecard" link.
Step 3: After this, enter the details such as application number and date of birth, and then submit.
Step 4: Now, the UGC NET result 2025 will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download the UGC NET result 2025 and take a printout of the same for future references.

As per official data, 5,90,897 female applicants, 4,28,653 male applicants and 201 third-gender applicants enrolled for the test. 36 third-gender applicants also took the test, and there were 4,46,689 female and 3,05,182 male test takers. As a consequence, the overall attendance rate is almost 74%.

5,289 applicants met the requirements for the Assistant Professor and JRF. 1,28,179 applicants have qualified for admission to the Ph.D. program alone, while 54,885 more candidates have qualified for the position of Assistant Professor alone. A challenge window for the tentative answer keys was part of the review procedure, and it ran from July 6 to July 8, 2025. Experts in the field examined the objections made, and the final results were published as a consequence.
