TANCET Counselling 2025: Tamil Nadu's Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has officially started the counselling procedure for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2025 for MBA and MCA admission.

TANCET Counselling 2025: Tamil Nadu's Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has officially started the counselling procedure for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2025 for MBA and MCA admission. Applicants need to submit their form on the official website of DTE TN at dte.tn.gov.in.

The counselling procedure will take place in both online and offline stages. The counselling procedure is divided into four stages: registration, choice filling, seat allocation, and document verification.

TANCET Counselling 2025: Schedule

The entire timetable for TANCET 2025 counselling is mentioned below. However, the timetable is only tentative.

1. Online Registration & Document Uploading: June 5 – June 30, 2025

2. Publication of Rank List (MBA/MCA): July 14, 2025

3. Grievance Redressal: July 15 – July 18, 2025

4. Special Reservation Category Counselling: July 21, 2025

5. Online Counselling for MCA: July 24 – July 26, 2025

6. Tentative Allotment for MCA: July 27, 2025

7. Confirmation of MCA Allotment: July 28, 2025

8. Provisional Allotment for MCA: July 29, 2025

9. Online Counselling for MBA: July 29 – August 1, 2025

10. Tentative Allotment for MBA: August 2, 2025

11. Confirmation of MBA Allotment: August 3, 2025

12. Provisional Allotment for MBA: August 4, 2025

13. Supplementary Counselling (MCA): August 5, 2025

14. Supplementary Counselling (MBA): August 6 – August 7, 2025

TANCET Counselling 2025: Fee structure

Applicants applying for the TANCET MBA and MCA counselling procedure must pay a registration cost online. General and OBC category applicants pay ₹800 for registration. Candidates from Tamil Nadu falling into SC, SCA, and ST categories, however, must pay a discounted fee of ₹400.

Apart from the registration cost, contenders have to provide an initial deposit. The deposit is ₹5,000 for applicants falling within OC, BC, BCM, MBC, and DNC categories. Tamil Nadu's SC, ST, and SCA category candidates must deposit ₹1,000 in meanwhile.

Why this counselling process is conducted?

This centralised counselling procedure is intended for applicants seeking admission to postgraduate management and computer applications programs offered by several government, government-aided, and university departments at institutions such as Anna University and Annamalai University.
