SSC CHT 2025 Exam City Intimation Slip: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Tuesday released the exam city intimation slip of the Combined Hindi Translator (CHT) Exam 2025. The candidates who have registered for the exam can check their allocated exam city by logging in to the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in. The slip assists aspirants with planning travel, although it is not the admit card.
SSC CHT 2025 will be conducted on August 12 for the recruitment of 437 posts such as Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Senior Translator.
Candidates intending to utilise their own scribes need to register and provide the scribe's information on the SSC portal until August 8, 2025. The scribe entry passes and admit cards will be made available about 2–3 days prior to the exam, and candidates are cautioned to visit the SSC portal frequently for any information or updates.
The pattern of the exam consists of two papers:
- Paper-I is a Computer-Based Test consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. It will have a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- On the basis of Paper-I performance, shortlisting category-wise for Paper-II, a descriptive paper, will be done.
