MPSC Website Down Amid Massive State-Wide Protests Demanding Postponement Of Exam

Mumbai, April 16: The MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) website is facing an outrage. Various sections of the homepage of the website are showing "No data found" and "No image found." The outrage was reported amid massive state-wide protests demanding postponement of Exam.

Meanwhile, the Pune police in a stern message to MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) students involved in recent protests, advised them to prioritize their studies and avoid unruly behavior during demonstrations

Pune City Police's Deputy Commissioner of Zone 1 Sandeep Singh Gill, interacting with the media on Wednesday (April 16) said, "Some individuals, including class and coaching center operators, are organizing protests without engaging in serious study for competitive exams."

He further said, "These individuals are reportedly encouraging students to join protests that are sometimes disruptive and not in line with the academic focus needed for exams."

Why Are MPSC Students Protesting?

Several Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) aspirants in Pune are disappointed over irregularities in the MPSC preliminary examination results and have alleged a lack of transparency in the selection process. Thousands of students staged a protest near the district collectorate on Wednesday, expressing dissatisfaction with MPSC's decisions.

The protesting students have demanded the reinstatement of original Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) vacancies and postponement of the upcoming MPSC State Services Mains Exam.

Why Students Demanding Postponement Of Exams?

Aspirants alleged that despite scoring above the declared cut-off, they were not included in the merit list, prompting the demand to postpone the examination.
