The Pareeksha Bhavan in Kerala has postponed the exam dates for the Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test June 2025 (KTET June 2025). The tests will now take place on September 18 and 19, 2025. Previously, the exam was slated to take place on August 23 and 24, 2025. Applicants can obtain their admit cards from the official website ktet.kerala.gov.in in due course. Applications were accepted from July 3-10, 2025.

KTET 2025: Exam details

The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test 2025 will be conducted in four categories:

* Category I (Lower Primary Classes)

* Category II (Upper Primary Classes)

* Category III (High School Classes)

* Category IV (for Language Teachers – Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu (up to Upper Primary classes), Specialist Teachers (Art & Crafts), and Physical Education Teachers.

KTET 2025: Subjects details

Paper I comprises five subjects: Child Development and Pedagogy, Tamil/Kannada/Malayalam, English/Arabic, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.

Marking scheme: Each subject contains 30 questions, with each question carrying one mark, making a total of 150 questions for 150 marks.

Paper II subjects include Child Development and Pedagogy, Tamil/Kannada/Malayalam/English, and English/Malayalam, each with 30 questions for 30 marks. In addition, candidates must choose between Mathematics & Science or Social Studies/Social Science, or another subject relevant to their specialization.

Marking scheme: This section includes 60 questions for 60 marks. For Mathematics & Science teachers, the section is divided into 30 multiple choice questions (MCQs) each, totaling 60 marks. For Social Studies/Social Science teachers, there are 60 MCQs carrying 60 marks. The total again is 150 questions for 150 marks.

Paper III includes Adolescence Psychology Study/Teaching Strategy with 40 questions for 40 marks, Tamil/Kannada/Malayalam/English with 30 questions for 30 marks, and Topic-Based Questions with 80 questions for 80 marks. Altogether, the paper contains 150 questions for a total of 150 marks.

Paper IV includes Child Development/Cognitive Science with 30 questions for 30 marks, Tamil/Kannada/Malayalam/English with 40 questions for 40 marks, and Topic-Based Questions with 80 questions for 80 marks. As with the other papers, the total is 150 questions for 150 marks.

Note: The duration of each paper will be two and half hour.
