In a major outreach programme, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) will be hosting a series of Open House events for qualified candidates who have cleared the JEE Advanced 2025 exam. The Open House, for the first time, will be held in three cities Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru to reach out to a larger number of potential students.
The Open House is part of IIT Delhi’s ‘Experience IITD’ program, an effort by the Office of Academic Outreach and New Initiatives to help students make informed decisions about their academic futures. The event will serve as a comprehensive introduction to the IIT Delhi experience—covering academics, research, co-curricular life, hostel life, career prospects, and more.
The program will begin with an online session entitled "IIT Delhi Calling" on Friday, June 6, at 6 PM. The offline sessions are scheduled:
June 7 (Saturday): Hybrid Open House at IIT Delhi (9:45 AM – 5:00 PM) and offline at ICT Mumbai (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
June 8 (Sunday): Offline session in Bengaluru at IISc Bangalore (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
Information and details regarding registration are on https://josaa.nic.in/open-house/.

The session at IIT Delhi will comprise a live interaction with Prof. Rangan Banerjee, Director of IIT Delhi, and the Deans of Academics and Student Affairs, offering insights on the Institute's academic rigor, egalitarian spirit, and welfare systems for students. The Office of Career Services (OCS) will also update participants on placement trends, internships, and international career opportunities.
Another highlight of the Open House will be featuring IIT Delhi's entrepreneurial culture, how students are empowered to start startups and create innovative businesses. A special session will also be conducted to familiarize students with IITD's undergraduate program at its Abu Dhabi campus, including how the admission process works and life at the international campus.
Students and parents will also have the opportunity to engage with current IITD students, alumni, and faculty during open Q&A sessions, campus tours, and personal storytelling segments. Live demonstrations by student clubs and societies, as well as one-on-one counselling, will provide a vivid and interactive look into IIT Delhi’s dynamic campus life.
