DUSU Election Result 2025: The DUSU Elections 2025 counting shows ABVP leading after four rounds. In the presidential race, Aryan Maan is ahead of NSUI’s Joslyn Nandita and AISA’s Anjali. Rahul Jhansla of NSUI remains in contention for Vice President, while ABVP’s Kunal Chaudhary and Deepika Jha are leading for Secretary and Joint Secretary. Counting will continue for 18–20 rounds before final results are declared in the evening.
DUSU Election Result 2025: Round 7
In the seventh round of the DUSU 2025 vote counting, Aryan Mann leads the race for President with 877 votes, followed by Joslyn Chaudhary with 533 votes and Umanshi Lamba with 408 votes. For the Vice President position, Rahul Jhansla is ahead with 1,509 votes, while Govind Tanwar has secured 632 votes. In the Secretary contest, Kabir leads with 1,005 votes, and Kunal Chaudhary follows with 801 votes. For the Joint Secretary post, Lavkush Bhadana is slightly ahead with 920 votes, compared to Deepika Jha, who has 861 votes.

After six rounds of counting, ABVP’s Aryan Maan leads the presidential race with 8,248 votes, followed by NSUI’s Joslyn Nandita with 3,814 and AISA’s Umanshi with 1,566. For Vice President, NSUI’s Rahul Jhansla has 8,307 votes, ahead of ABVP’s Govind Chauhan with 6,019. In the Secretary race, ABVP’s Kunal Chaudhary secured 6,796 votes, while NSUI’s Kabir Kumar has 4,719. For Joint Secretary, NSUI’s Lavkush Kumar is ahead with 5,159 votes.

In the 5th round of counting, ABVP’s Aryan Maan secured 6,813 votes, Govind Chauhan 5,106, Kunal Chaudhary 5,465, and Deepika Jha 4,881, while NSUI’s Joslyn Nandita received 2,954 votes, Rahul Jhansla 6,654, Kabir Kumar 3,805, and Lav Kumar 4,176.

After round 4 of counting, ABVP candidates secured 5,109 votes for President, 4,034 for Vice President, 4,446 for Secretary, and 3,775 for Joint Secretary, while NSUI candidates polled 2,099 for President, 4,794 for Vice President, 2,695 for Secretary, and 3,141 for Joint Secretary.

From the Round 3 results for the DUSU President post, Aryan Maan (ABVP) continues to dominate with 1,073 votes, maintaining a significant lead. Joslyn Nandita (NSUI) follows with 480 votes, while Anjali (SFI-AISA) has polled 302 votes. Among other candidates, Umangshi received 209 votes, Divyanshi 45, Anujit 44, Abhishek 25, and Rahul 33. Yogesh remains at 8 votes. Meanwhile, NOTA (None of the Above) has secured 125 votes in this round. Aryan’s strong tally in Round 3 further strengthens his lead over NSUI and AISA contenders.
From the third round of counting in the DUSU Elections 2025, the race for Vice-President is extremely close. Govind Tanwar (ABVP) secured 954 votes, while Rahul Jhansla (NSUI) is just behind with 931 votes, and Sohan Kumar (AISA) has polled 212 votes. For the Secretary’s post, ABVP’s Kunal Chaudhary continues to lead with 1,123 votes, followed by NSUI’s Kabir with 466 votes.
In the contest for Joint Secretary, ABVP’s Deepika Jha received 767 votes, maintaining an edge over NSUI’s Lavkush, who has polled 733 votes so far. This round highlights tight competition, particularly for the Vice-President and Joint Secretary posts.
DUSU Election Result 2025: Round 2
In the second round of counting for the DUSU Elections 2025, Aryan Maan of the ABVP earned 1,526 votes for President, Joslyn Nandita of the NSUI got 528 votes, and Anjali of the AISA got 228 votes. Govind Tanwar (ABVP) got 1,171 votes for Vice-President, whereas Rahul Jhansla (NSUI) got 1,531 votes and Sohan Kumar (AISA) got 135 votes. Kunal Chaudhary (ABVP) got 1,273 votes in the Secretary contest. Kabir (NSUI) came in second with 908 votes, and Abhinandan (AISA) came in third with 480 votes. Deepika Jha (ABVP) earned 1,122 votes for Joint Secretary, Lavkush (NSUI) got 1,076 votes, and Abhishek (AISA) got 3 votes. NOTA (None of the Above) also got 203 votes for Vice-President, 333 votes for Secretary, and 307 votes for Joint Secretary.

Aryan Maan of the ABVP is in the lead in the race for President with 1,696 votes. His closest competitor, Joslyn Nandita Choudhary of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI), has only 714 votes thus far. However, the fight for Vice-President is getting closer. NSUI's Rahul Jhansla has 1,606 votes, which is a little more than ABVP's Govind Tanwar, who has 1,202 votes.
In the Secretary's contest, ABVP candidate Kunal Chaudhary is in the lead with 1,410 votes. NSUI's Kabir is in second place with 845 votes. In the same way, ABVP's Deepika Jha is in the lead for the Joint Secretary's post with 1,315 votes, while NSUI's Lavkush Bhardana is in second place with 877 votes.
Chief Election Officer Prof. Raj Kishor Sharma
On the ongoing process, Chief Election Officer Prof. Raj Kishor Sharma told PTI: “Counting was scheduled for 8 am and we have started the process. We are opening the strong room in the presence of candidates and will then begin counting on the machines. A large number of staff has been deployed for the process. Counting will take around 18 to 20 rounds depending on the EVMs, after which the result will be declared. This year’s voter turnout was good compared to last year, with a 4 per cent increase.”
The DUSU elections are once again a big deal in campus politics, with an overall turnout of over 39.45%. This shows that students are actively participating in both day and night universities.
