DU UG Admission 2025: The third phase of undergraduate admissions under Delhi University's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the 2025-26 academic year opens today, August 2. It includes seat upgradations, new seat allocations, mid-entry applications, and special categories such as Children/Widows of Armed Forces Personnel (CW), Extracurricular Activities (ECA), Sports, and Ward Quota.
Existing Round I or Round II admitted candidates get a chance to choose a more-preferred programme-college pair. Upgrade and preference re-order window will be open between 5 pm, August 2 (Saturday) and 4:59 pm on August 3 (Sunday). In this time span, candidates are required to notify their intention to upgrade and file any modifications in their programme-college preferences.
The same window enables students to reschedule their order of choice as per their changed preferences. Once the window is closed, colleges will initiate activation of seat assignments. Candidates must note that only after paying the relevant differential fee to the candidate is admission confirmed.
The Delhi University will also make a mid-entry window available between 5 pm on August 8 (Friday) and 4:59 pm on August 10 (Sunday). This is meant for applicants who either didn't apply in CSAS Phase-I, couldn't finish Phase-II, or had their application rejected based on reasons such as wrong mapping of subjects, ineligibility, or invalid documents.
These candidates can rejoin the admission process by depositing a non-refundable mid-entry fee of Rs 1,000. They will also be allowed to change their preferences and correct subject-mapping mistakes. Even those who were not allotted seats in previous rounds can resubmit during this time.
All first preferences received by 5 pm on August 10 will be available for consideration in the next rounds of seat allocation. Candidates are recommended to refer to the most current vacant seat matrix before making a final choice. For further information, candidates must refer to the official notification.
