DU UG Admission 2025: The second round list of vacant undergraduate seats under Delhi University's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) will be released today, July 24, 2025. The aspirants can check the list and avail of the second round of counselling through their candidate dashboards at 5 PM through the official website at admissions.uod.ac.in.
What Happens After the Vacant Seat List is Out?
After the vacant seats are announced, applicants can reset their college and course choices from July 24 to July 25. This provides candidates with the ability to optimise their options on the basis of newly released choices.
Round 2 Seat Allotment and Confirmation
The Round 2 seat allotment result will be announced at 5 PM on July 28, 2025. Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round 2 need to accept the allocation between 5 PM on July 28 and 4:59 PM on July 30.
Overview of First Round
In the first round, DU made 93,166 seat allocations for 71,624 available seats. A total of 72,659 candidates accepted their seats, indicating a trend of over-allocation, which is expected to result in internal shifts and reassignments in the subsequent rounds — a pattern consistent with previous admission cycles.
This year, the CSAS portal recorded a total of 3,05,357 student login, of which 2,39,890 processed the preference-filling. Gender-wise, 53.06% (1,27,284) of candidates were female and 46.93% (1,12,603) were male.

Courses and Categories Covered
The admissions cover 79 undergraduate courses offered in 69 affiliated colleges, with the seat allotments being shared across different categories like General, Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST), Sikh Minority, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Kashmiri Migrants, Single Girl Child, and Orphan (male and female).
Delhi University's entire undergraduate admission procedure for 2025 is being held via the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2025).
