CBSE 12th Result 2025 OUT: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) Top With 99.29% Pass Rate

CBSE 12th Result 2025 OUT: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of Class 12 board exams 2025 officially. The pass percentage this year was 88.39%, and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) were the top-performing school group in the nation.

Of 17.04 lakh students enrolled, about 16.92 lakh took the exam, and almost 15 lakh students cleared it successfully.

Top performing institute

JNVs had the highest pass percentage of all CBSE-affiliated schools, at 99.29%.

Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) were not far behind, with a pass percentage of 99.05%, while Central Tibetan Schools Administration (CTSA) institutions achieved a pass rate of 98.96%.

While government-aided schools and government schools had pass percentages of 91.57% and 90.48%, respectively. Independent or private schools had the lowest pass rate among the groups at 87.94%.

On the board's official websites, cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in, students can see their individual results. The site also enables school-wise result viewing for an overall performance perspective.

This year, 1,29,095 pupils (7.63%) from Class 12 were put in the Compartment category, which means they will have to sit for extra exams later in 2025.
