Delhi Weather Forecast: City To Experience Light To Moderate Rainfall On Wednesday; Check Details

Delhi: The capital city has been experiencing rainfall for a few days, and residents have gotten relief from the scorching heat and humidity. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in the Delhi-NCR regions. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 27 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Monsoon in Delhi arrived on June 29, 2025, and it is influencing the weather in the city. The weather department predicted generally cloudy skies on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. The IMD has also issued a yellow alert, as light to moderate is anticipated. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall is predicted at isolated places in eastern Madhya Pradesh. The widespread rainfall is expected across several regions, including Uttarakhand, Tripura, Mizoram, and Gujarat.

The ongoing rainfall is expected to persist until July 13, 2025. No heatwave conditions are forecast for the days ahead. The weather department has predicted heavy rainfall at isolated locations in some districts of Himachal Pradesh. The yellow alert has been issued in Kullu, Shimla, Mandi, Bilaspur, Sirmaur, and Una.

Heavy rainfall is forecasted in these regions

Isolated heavy rainfall is forecasted in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Mizoram. The weather department has also issued a heavy rainfall warning in Uttarkashi, Tehri, Bageshwar, Nainital, and Rudraprayag regions of Uttarakhand.
