Youth Beaten To Death Over A Slap In Madhya Pradesh's Sagar; Three Arrested

Sagar (Madhya Pradesh): A disturbing video of an assault with a 21-year-old youth surfaced from Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district on Monday.

The youth was assaulted to death on May 1 (Thursday), after which the body was found lying on roadside and the police had sent it for post-mortrem.

4 days later, a video surfaced showing him being mercilessly assaulted and beaten up with belts, leading to swift police action.

Murder conspiracy over a slap

According to reports, Tiwari had gone to attend a wedding on April 30, a day before the assault, where he reportedly indulged into an argument with one of the accused, Bunty alias Kailash Rajak (45).

The eye witnesses stated that Tiwari had slapped Bunty during the altercation. Enraged, Bunty along with his nephew Vinod Rajak (25), sought help from their associate Devendra alias Gangaram Raikwar (22) and allegedly planned to assault and murder Tiwari.

Further, on the same night Tiwari was heading back to his home when he was blocked and intercepted by the trio. Here, they mercilessly beat him up until he succumbed to his injuries.

The accused loaded the body into a pickup van and dumped it near a culvert on the Pithoria-Bandri road.

Victim sustained deep injury marks on his body

Deep injuries on the victim's body led the police to suspect murder. Forensic team collected evidences from the crime scene and lodged a murder case.

The police acted swiftly and arrested all the accused after a video went viral on social media. .
